The primary program at St Dominic's Centre enrols students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The curriculum is based on the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Curriculum. Students receive instruction in all Key Learning Areas in small groups by qualified teachers. The school is responsive to student needs and provides opportunities for all students to reach their full potential.
In 2018 the first Kindergarten enrolments for students with a diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) will join the St Dominic's community. This criteria is essential for Kindergarten only. In Years 1 to 6 students are required to have a diagnosis of deaf or hard of hearing and/or DSM5 criteria of moderate cognitive delay.
